West African Mask

This mask looks like it is made out of wood. It's colours are black and brown. It looks quite smooth at the bottom half but a bit rough on the top. At the ear it looks like they used some kind of dirt. They eyebrows and mouth etc. look like they have been carved into shape.

I chose this mask because it looked interesting. It looks like it has a shocked expression.

West African Proverb

My West African Proverb is: Knowledge is like a garden: if it is not cultivated, it cannot be harvested.

I think what it means is that if you do not use your knowledge you can't improve it.

strongest leader

 I think that a woman can me just as strong a leader in times of piece and war as a man can.

The reason I say this is because who ever the leader is will still have to make sophisticated decisions no matter their gender. It depends on the leader in personal on their opinions on piece and war.People think that a man would be a better leader because of his physical strength, forcefulness and being dynamic. This is how ever misleading because these characteristics are not the most important and main ones to be a good leader. More important is being a good thinker, strategist, thinking ahead and picking good allies and associates.

 Over all I think being a good leader depends on your intelligence, decision making and all of the above. Gender having nothing to do with it. Anna and her brother would each be different in leading not having to do with their genders.
